Command An Army Attack Command Guide

Attack is one of the four verified troop orders and commits the squad to an identified target. It is most useful after the group has regrouped and the target supports the objective plan.

Choose a target that opens the objective

Use attack against a defender, route, or position that helps the team take or keep ground. A target that pulls the army away from the point can create more risk than value.

Watch for overcommitment

If the formation loses its screen or ranged support, call follow and rebuild before choosing the next target. A reset is often better than turning one attack into a long chase.
